When "Show Additional Info" is turned off, the following elements will not be visible.

*Trust Rank
*Performance Rank & Fallback Status
**Note: Fallback Icon will still be shown
*Group name and code
*Platform
*Avatar Interaction

These settings will affect visibility of these elements whether "Show Additional Info" is enabled or disabled.

*Show Group Banner
*Show Fallback Icon
*Show Earmuffs Icon
*Muted & Deafen
Request Host
Request Host was a button on the Quick Menu used to request a host (VRChat Moderator) to join the user's instance to handle urgent moderation issues. It was removed October 27, 2017 and replaced with a "Report abuse" button that would allow users to report users similar to the report button in the current version of VRChat.

<blockquote>
Welcome to VRChat early access! on Steam:

If you’d like to provide direct feedback you can do so to any of our HOSTS which have their name tag’s marked in VRChat. You can also "Request Host" if you are having any difficulties.

VRChat is a friendly place and we’d like to keep it that way. Please be kind and polite to others. We absolutely will not tolerate trolls and abusive behavior.</blockquote>

Web panels
Web Panels was a feature in VRChat that allowed users to access and display web pages directly within the game environments. This feature was introduced to enhance interactivity and provide direct access to internet resources without leaving the VR space. However, due to emerging security concerns identified by the development team, this feature was disabled to protect users.

The removal took place in August 2018, a decision driven by potential vulnerabilities that could be exploited through the web panel interface. The official announcement and further details regarding the security issues leading to this decision were documented and shared with the community through a Steam update on August 17, 2018.

PhysSound support
PhysSound is a Unity asset that allows for sounds to be played when physics objects collide with each other or with static colliders. World authors were able to install the PhysSound Asset Package in their world projects.

Support for it was dropped in SDK3. Creators are expected to create their own replacement using Udon.

Panoramic/360° screenshots (VRChive)
The old camera menu had two options to take panoramic (360-degree) photos.

*Panorama
*VRChive Panorama

The 'Panorama' option would save the panoramic a user's device, while 'VRChive Panorama' would automatically upload the panoramic to VRChive, a social media platform focusing on VR, making it easy to share with friends on social media. These options were originally added on January 18, 2017.

The feature was temporarily removed during an open beta build for the UI 1.5 Update, but has not returned since. Cited with the following reason on the official VRChat Discord:
<blockquote>
*The Panorama button in the Quick Menu has been removed due to several issues. There are many compounding bugs with this feature, and trying to fix it right now will slow down this release. We'll circle back around and implement it properly at a later time.
*VRChive Panorama has also been removed for similar reasons</blockquote>
Guided Mode
Guided Mode was a menu and UI feature intended for users who were new to VRChat, however any user could enable and use the Guided Mode menu. It was announced in the April 28, 2023 Developer Update, then initially released on May 3, 2023 in the VRChat 2023.2.2 update. The Guided Menu heavily simplified world and avatar exploration and tweaking for settings. It was revealed on the VRChat 2023.2.2 Video Patchnotes, and was present in the VRChat client for a few months before being silently removed.

The following patchnotes were introduced alongside the released the release of Guided Mode:
<blockquote>Introducing Guided Mode!

*Guided mode is a simplified Quick Menu meant for new users, making it easy to explore VRChat and learn about vital functions.
*This mode is available to all users in the Open Beta for testing.
*You can exit Guided Mode to return to the normal Quick Menu.
*Once this release goes to Live, Guided Mode will only be accessible to some new users for further testing
*Later on, we will release it fully and optionally allow all users to enable the feature if you prefer it</blockquote>

When age verification was in early access, and early stages of public release, there were two badges available for those who went through the age verification process.
*Age Verified
* Verified 18+

It should also be noted that these badges are not the same as achievable profile badges. The Age Verified Badge was removed, and the Verified 18+ badge was changed from red to blue, stating: <blockquote>"Essentially, this marker simply meant that you had completed the process - you had verified your identity, but you may not have been 18 or older."</blockquote>and <blockquote>"Red looked really bad on some headsets and didn't match our visual design."
18 Hour clock
The 18 Hour clock mode was a setting originally introduced with the clock's release on April 1st, 2024. The feature was eventually removed during the 2025.3.1 beta cycle, build 1678, cited with the following reason on the VRChat Feedback board:
<blockquote>
This change was intentional. As our localization stack matures, the time for the 18 hour clock had come...</blockquote>

The 18 hour clock divides the day into two phases: AA and PA. From midnight (00:00) to 6:00 PM (18:59), the time follows the standard 24-hour clock format and is labelled with the "AA" suffix. At 18:59 AA, the clock resets and switches to 1:00 PA, marking the start of the second phase of the day. The PA phase runs from 1:00 PA to 6:00 PA. After 6:00 PA, the clock resets back to 00:00 AA, starting the next day.
ToxMod is an AI-assisted voice chat moderation product made by Modulate, intended to detect and flag toxic or abusive voice behavior.
VRChat later stated that the team had previously been in discussions with Modulate, and that VRChat was inadvertently listed as a ToxMod customer, but that VRChat has no current or future plans to implement ToxMod.
Sharing
Sharing enables a VRC+ user to share custom emojis, custom stickers, photos, prints, and UI themes with other users. This allows a user to place a Sharing Pedestal in a world that other users can interact with. When a user leaves an instance, their pedestal will disappear. Sharing pedestals can be hidden by selecting it, blocking a user will also hide their pedestal.

<!--T:49-->
Bundles
Bundles are a collection of content that users are able to claim for their Inventory, free for all users but some bundles can be exclusive to VRC+ supporters. These limited-time VRC+ only Inventory Bundles, when claimed, supporters are rewarded with exclusive inventory content. Usually bundles are available to claim for one month before a new bundle replaces it.

<!--T:54-->
Exclusives
VRC+ Exclusives is content that is only available for VRC+ supporters. Unlike Bundles, Exclusives are not claimable and automatically appear in user's inventories. Content that is VRC+ Exclusive is labeled with VRC+ logo in the top left corner.

<!--T:13-->
Groups
Supporters unlock the ability to create and join more groups. A VRC+ subscription is not required to retain ownership of a group once it has been created.
Trust boost
Supporters receive an increase in their Trust Rank. This boost can elevate a user's trust rank to the next level. The minimum Trust Rank received is User, which is particularly beneficial for newcomers who want to start content creation immediately.
If already a User or Known rank, the trust boost is unlikely to have an immediate effect. For those with a Trusted rank, the boost will have no effect.

<!--T:18-->
Age Verification
Age Verification is a feature accessible to VRC+ subscribers with a VRChat account, allowing users to verify their age. This grants a special marker that can be displayed on their profile and nameplate, as well as access or host to age restricted Group instances for users 18 and over.

<!--T:19-->
===Technical information=== <!--T:28-->

<!--T:29-->
Using VRC+ on different platforms
Subscription payments are processed through platform partners (Steam or Meta). Contact their support for payment-related issues. You can purchase VRC+ on Steam even if you primarily use another platform, like Oculus PC, by merging your Oculus PC account into your VRChat account.

<!--T:31-->
Subscription issues
For issues with VRC+ features, contact VRChat Support. Subscription payments are processed through platform partners (Steam or Meta), so contact their support services for payment issues. Refunds for subscriptions are not permitted by the platforms; VRChat does not offer refunds after purchase.

<!--T:51-->
Subscription renewal and lapse
When a VRC+ subscription lapses:
*Custom inventory content is saved but becomes inaccessible until the subscription is renewed.
**Your custom user icon will be unequipped.
*Avatar favorite lists will be saved, but not accessible.
**Access to favorite list 1 will be accessible.
*Badges and Trust boost gained from VRC+ are retained.
**The Supporter & VRC+ Tenure badges will be removed. The badges progress are saved and will be added back when resubscribed.
*Other VRC+ features will be disabled, with data saved for future access if the subscription is restarted.

<!--T:33-->
Canceling VRC+ subscription
Steam:
1. Visit the Steam Account Details page.
2. Click “Manage Subscriptions.”
3. Cancel or renew subscriptions as needed.

<!--T:42-->
For more details, see the Steam Support article on recurring subscriptions.

<!--T:34-->
Meta Quest Store:
1. In your Meta Quest headset, select “Your Account” in the Store left sidebar.
2. Select “Subscriptions,” then “VRChat,” and finally “Cancel Subscription.”

<!--T:35-->
Gifting VRC+
VRC+ can be gifted to other users. If a user already has an active subscription, gifting them will extend its duration.

<!--T:43-->
To gift a user with VRC+, you can click on them if they are in the same instance as you, and click Gift VRC+. You can also search for a user in either the Search tab, or Social tab, and also click Gift VRC+ when on their profile.

<!--T:36-->
<span id="Gift drop"></span>Gift drop
You can visually gift several users in an instance simultaneously, by using a gift drop. If the number of gifts exceeds the number of users in the instance, some users may receive multiple months of VRC+

<!--T:52-->
When dropping gifts, you can choose to either distribute them equally among users in the instance, or to prioritize dropping to the closest users. Gift drop bundles must be consumed in a single drop and cannot be used partially or split.

<!--T:45-->
Gift drops may include discounts of up to 50%.

<!--T:53-->
Quantity and pricing for gift drops
Users can purchase a bundle of VRC+ subscriptions to drop. Each bundle represents a number of one-month VRC+ subscriptions. For example, the ‘10’ bundle grants ten one-month subscriptions to users in the instance.

<!--T:46-->
Purchasing the bundle of 5 saves 5% of the regular cost; bundle of 10 saves 10%, bundle of 20 saves 25%, bundle of 50 saves 35%, and the bundle of 100 subscriptions saves 50%.
