Atoll of Ether is built from the ground up to be a heavily optimized cross-platform world. All textures used are contained within a Single Atlassed Texture, which only requires 1 material with one of VRChat's provided lite shaders to render. To add an additional night version to Android, a workaround was used to bake light under different lighting conditions on 2 respective copies of the same geometry.

Along with statically batching objects and utilizing occlusion culling this world remains among the most optimized to date.

A time-lapse video is available, which showcases the entire creation process.
