VRC BOXING is a cross-platform game world published by ムシコロリ. Players box with tracked punches. WOW Sports Entertainment Inc. (ワオスポーツ株式会社) runs the project.

Layout

Players spawn in a gym lobby. Language select is EN (English), JP (Japanese), and KR (Korean). How to Play, World Settings, Update Notes, and a UI hub are near spawn.

A tutorial starts near spawn. Players pick 3-point tracking or FBT (full-body tracking), take a glove, and set the official height. Punch lessons cover Jab, Straight, Hook, and OneTwoHook. The tutorial also runs throwing and guarding drills of 20 punches each.

A Training Area has Daily Workout, Punching Test, SPEED STRIKE, and a Sparring Mat. Daily Workout assigns a daily task. Punching Test evaluates punch form on a dummy. SPEED STRIKE is a 30-second scoring drill against red markers. Points follow punch speed and power. A new SPEED STRIKE personal record can be uploaded to a global ranking. Achievements are tracked in the gym. On the Sparring Mat, players dodge balls from a coach and stay off an OUT line.

Each ring has Match Settings. Queue Mode can be Instant or Next. Players can switch rings. Tracking can be set to 3-point or FBT at the ring. A round timer can be stopped and started.

A commendation platform lists four labeled plates: Former WBC (World Boxing Council) World Flyweight Champion Daisuke Naito, Twitch streamer sutanmi, Robert YAMAMOTO, and Magical Lovely Noda. Naito's plate includes an autograph dated April 20, 2023. Further unlabeled portraits hangs on the same wall.

A G-SHOCK poster in the gym opens the G-SHOCK VRChat page in the browser. A G-SHOCK CUP collage hangs in the gym. The same series appears under G-SHOCK x VRChat and Accessories.

The lobby has a VRC BOXING shop. A VIP Room opens for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Supporter listings.

Players can open Official Teams and the group page. PUNCHLINE TRACKS plays selected tracks in the gym on a timer.

Gameplay

Players put on gloves, enter a ring, and start on the gong. Punches land on the head and body. Form and speed determine damage. Gloves and arms guard.

A Ring Owner can change Match Settings. Matches can be limited to All Platforms, Quest, or PC.

When the set rounds finish, the match ends by decision or draw.

Rumble is a team match of up to four players (2v2, 1v3, 1v1v2, 3v1). Under 3v1, the solo player's health is multiplied by five.

HOW TO PLAY documents HP, STA, and GD for eSports Mode, and a Real Mode ruleset.

Meter	eSports Mode
HP (health points)	Starts at 50. Maximum falls 50 → 40 → 30 after knockdowns.
STA (stamina)	Falls on Heavy Punch and body shots, then recovers. Overspend causes BREAK and slower movement. Low STA cuts outgoing damage and can TKO (technical knockout) on knockdown.
GD (guard)	Right-stick-down guard, at most two times in a row. Attacking recovers GD. The player cannot attack while guarding. GUA is the HOW TO PLAY name for GD.

Heavy Punch is a held button that spends stamina. From round 2 onward, Mega Punch unlocks after 12 punch hits.

Large damage needs correct form.

World Settings include Lightweight mode, Lightweight+ mode, Disable Custom FX, Hide watermark info, VRChat Settings Optimization, Rope Collision, and BGM (background music).

The world uses the Creator Economy. The world store sells cosmetic gloves, Punch FX, and voice packs for VRChat Credits. The official group store sells Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Supporter listings (1-month duration). Silver includes a Premium Glove. Gold includes the Premium Glove and VIP Room. Platinum and Diamond include those plus a Supporter List.

Community

The VRChat group is VRC BOXING OFFICIAL COMMUNITY (VBOX.3996). It uses English, Japanese, and Korean, same as the world.

Official Teams are user communities approved by the admins. They may use team-exclusive gloves. With a prior application they may use a tournament world for user-run competitions. A Team Browser lists approved teams.

The Lilpa Boxing Tournament (リルパボクシング大会) ran on November 22, 2025 and November 23, 2025. VTuber Lilpa (リルパ) of the Korean VTuber group 異世界アイドル hosted. Eight teams of three drafted members each. Teams had a five-day practice period. Official collab glove skins went on sale for the teams.

The Vket2025Winter special tournament (Vket2025Winter特別大会) ran on December 13, 2025 with 120 applicants. Departments were Casual (カジュアル), 3-point Standard (3点スタンダード), and competition rule (競技ルール).

VRC BOXING SUMMER SHOWDOWN had three departments: 3-point tracking, competition rule (競技ルール), and FBT. Competition rule is full tracking only. Qualifiers ran on August 29, 2026 and August 30, 2026 at 8:30 PM Japan time, as 2-minute, 2-round matches. The final ran on September 12, 2026 as a YouTube LIVE from 8:00 PM Japan time. Department winners were Mio (FBT), taiyoukeee (competition rule), and 森永 (3-point tracking).

Official tournaments use a regulation document for illegal punches and tracking abuse.

VRC BOXING holds player practice (選手向け) on Wednesdays and a social meet (交流会) on Sundays, both from 9:00 PM.

History

The gym mural is titled VRC BOXING World History.

Production started on June 11, 2022 after VRCボクシング練習会 (VRC Boxing practice group) recruited a gimmick maker to replace the older Udon Boxing world used for practice and cups.

Practice moved onto this world, then titled VRC BOXING GYM JP, by July 26, 2022.

In July 2022 the world opened with eSports Mode.

The VRCボクシング大会 Vket2022Summer杯 ran on August 21, 2022 at 9:00 PM.

In December 2022 SEASON FINAL GRAND SLAM ran in Vket 2022 Winter.

In January 2023 Real Mode shipped. It was later renamed Standard Mode.

In March 2023 the VRCボクシング大会 トリオ杯 ran.

In July 2023 SPARK LINK ran. The VRCボクシング大会 in Vket 2023 Summer ran the same month.

In December 2023 SEASON FINAL GRAND SLAM ran in Vket 2023 Winter.

WOW Sports Entertainment Inc. was founded on November 30, 2023. On February 19, 2024 VRC Boxing appeared at the JBC (Japan Boxing Commission) 2023 awards, and WOW Sports partnered with VRChat.

Weekly practice ran Thursday and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM by February 20, 2024.

In March 2024 Casual Mode shipped.

The world added an in-world shop, a VIP ROOM, and a redesigned entrance and practice floor on April 6, 2024.

In May 2024 World Renewal shipped. The VRCボクシング大会 新人杯 ran the same month.

VRC BOXING reached 1 million visits on June 6, 2024 and 2 million visits on August 5, 2024.

In July 2024 VRC BOXING COMMUNITY CUP ran.

In December 2024 VIRTUAL KNOCKOUT Vket SPECIAL MATCH ran.

In February 2025 CASIO presents VRC BOXING G-SHOCK CUP ran.

On February 6, 2026 the world passed 10 million visits. Free commemorative glove skins in black, red, and blue marked that milestone.

In May 2025 PICO MOTION IMPACT VRC BOXING SPECIAL ran.

In July 2025 Vket 2025 Summer 特別大会 ran.

In November 2025 USA Mode shipped.

In December 2025 Vket 2025 Winter 特別大会 ran. FBT Mode shipped the same month.
