The initial pool of Wiki Maintainers were selected by VRChat staff to help pioneer and oversee the launch of the Official VRChat wiki, but future candidates will likely be chosen from those who have shown a dedication to contributing to the wiki and adhering to the rules and guidelines.
As of right now there is no process for elevating new Wiki Maintainers, but one will be developed in time once the wiki has had time to mature and the need arises.
