Japan Street is a PC world and Quest world separately created by NEET ENGINEER.
It was published in 2019 and has since grown to be one of the largest hubs for the Japanese VRChat Community to meet.
PC & Quest World
Due to sync issue has been happen previously, instead of cross platform, they choosen to go with separate worlds.
Concept
'Japanese City that looks like it could be exist in real life.'
This world is being developed by collaboration though volunteers with models brought together with the aim of recreating a Japanese cityscape.
Governance
There is one main tier of local government covering Japan Street, at unitary authority level, being Akyo City Council, which meets at Akyo City Hall (under development).
The area governed by the city council is the world of Japan Street, which located inside VRChat.
Current mayor of city is "D.Na / だな" since 2022. Mayor of city be directly elected by community.
Akyo
Akyo is mysterious animal which exist in Japan Street. There are currently over 100 styles of akyo exist and each models has dedicated pedestal next to Station Park by Haihocho Station.
