Omegle VR is a cross-platform game world created by Puppet~. It was published in 2023 and recreates the website Omegle. Here participants talk to each other via a virtual webcam located in their assigned isolated room.
Overview
Upon spawning in an assigned room a screen is nearby with a button to start searching for participants in other rooms of the same world. Once connected voice and video of each of the rooms is transmitted between these rooms. The selection is made at random based on the pool of people looking for a participant within the instance. As the Room Owner, you may invite other participants to your room and connect through the monitor together as a group.
Besides the cross-platform version, a separate PC-only version also exists.
House area
Outside the assigned room is a small house area with various other rooms and props, these can be picked up and used to potentially spice up interactions with other participants.
