若用戶不希望讓其他人看見其驗證狀態，也可選擇完全隱藏該標記。已驗證為 18+ 的用戶，無論其個人檔案上是否公開顯示驗證標記，皆可存取有開設年齡限制的房間。

僅有年齡驗證的信任盾牌圖示本身「並不代表」該用戶已年滿 18 歲，它僅代表該用戶已完成年齡驗證。年滿 13 歲而未滿 18 歲的用戶，也可以透過 Persona 完成年齡驗證，但在年滿 18 歲之前，將無法在其個人資料上選擇「已確認年滿 18 歲」標記，也無法存取有年齡限制的房間。

年齡限制房間

群組（Groups）可以建立 18 歲年齡限制的房間，其要求所有參與者必須已完成年齡驗證，且年滿 18 歲才能加入。此限制可套用至「公開」、「群組 +」、「群組」房間。若用戶已完成 18 歲驗證，則年齡限制房間將始終顯示在房間列表的最上方。

年齡驗證系統預計將會與內容控管（Content Gating）系統搭配運作，以防止未完成驗證、已完成驗證但未滿 18 歲的用戶，存取被標記為「性暗示」（Sexually suggestive）及「成人用語和主題」（Adult language and themes）的內容。此功能預計將於 2026 年上半年實施。[7][8]

推出過程

該功能最初在測試期間僅開放給特定群組使用，只有被選中的群組成員才能申請驗證名額，並建立有年齡限制的房間。[1]

第一階段的逐步推出於 2024 年 12 月 17 日開始，多個被選中的群組，獲得了針對群組用戶的年齡驗證功能權限。

2025 年 1 月 28 日，該功能以搶先體驗形式向所有 VRC+ 訂閱用戶推出。目前尚未確認何時會開放給所有用戶使用。

附加資訊

  • 驗證要求：用戶必須提交一張「未經編輯」的政府核發身分證件照片，並完成要求自拍的「真人驗證」，用於確認正在進行驗證的人與證件持有人為同一人後，才能通過年齡驗證。[9]
  • 非必要功能：年齡驗證並非使用 VRChat 的必要條件。然而，用戶若要存取有年齡限制的房間與相關功能，則必須完成年齡驗證，並年滿 18 歲。[10]
  • 資料處理：Persona 僅會在完成驗證所需的最短時間內保留身分證件資料，用於確認用戶的出生日期，並利用用戶所提交身分證件中的資料建立唯一的單向加密雜湊值（Cryptographic Hash）。此雜湊值會儲存在 VRChat 伺服器上的該用戶帳號中，而所有身分證件資料則會自 Persona 端刪除。VRChat 伺服器上將僅保留不可逆的加密雜湊值，以及用戶經驗證後的出生日期。[11]
    • 注意：在 VRChat 中刪除驗證資料將導致該用戶帳號暫時無法使用，直到其再次接受《服務條款》（Terms of Service）並重新輸入出生日期為止。此外，該帳號上的驗證狀態也將被移除，除非重新完成驗證。
  • 一個身分證件對應一個帳號：同一份身分證件無法用於驗證多個帳號。此限制旨在提升信任度，並鼓勵用戶更重視自己的帳號，以減少惡意行為的發生。[12]
  • 18 歲年齡驗證不等同於豁免色情露骨內容的限制：經 18 歲年齡驗證或有年齡限制的房間「並不代表」可以豁免《服務條款》或《社群守則》（Community Guidelines）中關於色情內容的政策限制。
