「傳送門」（Portals），是前往不同世界（Worlds）與房間（Instances）的主要移動方式之一。傳送門可以固定在世界當中，也可以由用戶自行放置。

行為

建立傳送門

可透過在主選單的「世界」標籤頁中，選擇任意一個世界並點擊「創建新的房間」（New Instance），接著選擇房間類型以及設定房間所在的伺服器地區。選擇完畢後，第二個畫面中便會有一個「放置傳送門」（Drop Portal）的按鈕，以及旁邊的鎖頭圖示按鈕。若未將其鎖定，則任何用戶都能看見該傳送門；反之，若將其鎖定，則只有你自己與好友能看見該傳送門。

放置傳送門

當用戶點擊了「放置傳送門」的按鈕後，畫面中會出現一個拋物線狀的虛線標記，用於選擇你想放置傳送門的位置。傳送門必須放置於平坦表面上，且不能與世界物件或玩家重疊。此外，傳送門也無法放置在重生點（Spawn Point）附近。

若要確認放置傳送門，用戶可以依據所使用的平台或模式，以點擊滑鼠左鍵、按下控制器扳機鍵、點擊螢幕，或以拇指與食指做出捏合手勢確認放置。VR 用戶也可以透過按下想使用之控制器的握把鍵，切換由哪隻手放置傳送門。

若「設定」（Setting）標籤頁中的「傳送門放置模式」（Portal Mode）被選為「放置在前方」（Drop In Front），則在點擊「放置傳送門」按鈕後，傳送門會立即出現在你的正前方。

放置好了之後，傳送門將會顯示給其他用戶看見，並展示其世界名稱、放置傳送門的用戶、伺服器地區、房間編號、房間類型、這房間的所在群組（如果適用）、房間人數及容量、平台相容性及計時器等資訊。計時器會從 30 秒倒數至 0 秒，當倒數歸零時，傳送門將會消失。每當有用戶進入傳送門後，計時器便會重新重置回 30 秒重新倒數。

若傳送門所通往的世界不支援特定平台，則使用不相容平台的用戶將無法進入該房間，其傳送門周圍會顯示紅色的「X」圖示。因此，在前往其他房間前，通常會建議先留意好友或同行者所使用的平台，以避免有人因平台不相容而被留在原本的房間。

所有人皆可放置通往「公開」或「群組公開」房間的傳送門。而通往「群組 +」房間的傳送門，則只能由群主或擁有「Portal to Group+ Instances」（開啟通往群組 + 房間的傳送門）權限的用戶放置。至於通往「好友 +」、「好友」、「邀請 +」、「邀請」房間的傳送門，則僅能由該房間的房主放置。

點擊傳送門

當傳送門出現時，可以像點擊其他用戶一樣點擊它。開啟快速選單後，將雷射對準並點擊傳送門的膠囊選取框後，即可開啟這個世界的頁面與該房間資訊。這可以讓你在實際走進傳送門之前，預先載入這個世界，或者查看世界下載大小，以及將其加入收藏。

靜止型傳送門

傳送門也可能會預先放置於世界中，並通往其他世界。這類傳送門稱為「靜止型傳送門」（Static Portals）。當用戶走進靜止型傳送門時，傳送門將會顯示為一個新生成的房間 ID。在這 30 秒內，任何用戶都可以跟隨進入該傳送門並前往門所對應的房間。靜止型傳送門在超過秒數後不會消失。

設定

傳送門有多種設定能夠自定義。用戶可以前往「設定」選單標籤頁中，並在搜尋列中輸入 傳送門 以存取這些設定。

  • 傳送門進入提示（Portal Prompt）：切換是否需要控制器點擊確認才進入傳送門。
  • 傳送門放置模式（Portal Mode）：共有以下兩種選項。
    • 手動放置（Place Manually）：可讓用戶自行控制傳送門放置的位置。
    • 放置在前方（Drop In Front）：會立即生成傳送門於用戶的正前方。
  • 顯示傳送門通知（Show Portal Notifications）：當有傳送門被放置時，通知將顯示在你的 HUD 上。
  • 只顯示好友的加入 / 離開 / 傳送門通知（Only Show Friend Join/Leave/Portal Notifications）：此選項會限制傳送門通知僅在好友放置傳送門時顯示。

外觀

傳送門外觀（Portal skins），是一種可用於改變傳送門外觀的裝飾性選項。除了獨特的視覺設計外，它們還可能具有不同的開啟與關閉動畫及音效。傳送門外觀可以在「庫存（Inventory）」的「外觀」（Cosmetics）欄位中選擇。
