:Ive spent a good 45 minutes looking through Avatar databases and here is what Ive found:
:The earlyest Hoppou avatars that use the distinctive model with its eyes were all uploaded from January - March of 2018.
:Several of these early Hoppous lack the distinctive eyes though, including the earlyest upload Ive found (avtr_6b00ba3a-7cd2-4c76-b8a1-638e137952d0/2nd of January 2018). I have a source for at least these though, they come from a certain [https://www.deviantart.com/uruchiha/art/MMD-Kancolle-Princess-Northern-647886627 Deviantart] and were made by "Sarita-Chan" and "uruchiha".
:I found long dead links to that Deviantart on a upload of the Hoppou from the 16th of February 2018 (avtr_101b28c8-1cca-4c4e-b416-a88cb7042096), '''which very confusingly does have the distinctive eyes!''' <sub>(If that avatars uploaded picture is to be trusted, I have not tested it in-game yet.)</sub>
:I have yet to check though how close that MMD model from Deviantart is to the "modern" base Hoppou that is distributed in the H. Foundation and such.
