The Shop is a Main Menu page where users can purchase content from VRChat, or from the community. Content can be purchased with VRChat Credits, and the types of content ranges from avatars, listings from world & group stores, and listings which include content types from the Inventory.
Types of content
Content that can appear in the store include:
- Avatars from the Avatar Marketplace
- World stores
- Group stores
VRChat Store
The VRChat Store is where VRChat sells content from themselves, which are limited to Inventory content types. Listings can be free, or purchased with VRChat Credits, and could be available for a limited amount of time.
Gifting
Users may only gift listings from the Shop if they reach the Trust Rank "User". When gifting, users will be able to choose to gift to a user within the instance or from their friends list. Note that while you may be able to choose users within the instance, you will only be able to gift to a friend.
Shelves
Shelves are how the store is organized, each shelf is curated to a specific focus, such as a set of listings for an event or an update.
VRC+ discounts
Listings offered in the shop are discounted if a user is subscribed to VRC+. These are indicated with a "
with VRC+" line underneath the original price.
