Ugandan Knuckles first appeared on VRChat sometime in late 2017 and quickly developed a cult following. Often a large group of Ugandan Knuckles would roam through VRchat well into 2018<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lYNF3flmFs</ref>. Users of this Avatars often used the phrase "Da wey" to ask for "the way" to a figure known as "The Queen".
As this Avatar gained a larger following all sorts of Variants of this Avatar appeared, starting from simple recolors to more elaborate modifications.
