所謂的「平台帳號」，是指透過以下裝置或軟體登入的帳號：
- Steam
- Meta
- PICO
- Viveport
- Discord

- 保留一鍵登入的便利性
- 申請加入創作者經濟（Creator Economy）計畫的資格

- 移除用戶名稱結尾自動產生的四位數辨識碼

連結前注意事項
收藏數量限制
在帳號合併後，如果兩個帳號的收藏總數超過平台的最大限制，系統將暫時保留用戶超出上限的收藏。但若要新增新的收藏，則必須先移除部分現有收藏，使其回到限制範圍內。一般建議，一開始就將平台帳號連結至一個全新的帳號。
購買限制
透過任何平台（Steam、Meta、Pico、Viveport、Google）帳號於創作者經濟系統中，購買過任意商品的用戶，目前因為技術問題，暫時無法將其帳號連結至完整的 VRChat 帳號，預計未來將會開放。
連結帳號流程
若要將平台帳號合併為完整的 VRChat 帳號，請依照以下步驟操作：
- 登入你想要連結的 Steam、Meta、Pico、Google 或 Viveport 帳號。
- 在 VRChat 中開啟主選單。
- 前往「設定」（Settings）。
- 在「離開 VRChat」選項下方找到並點擊「連結帳號」（Link Account）按鈕。
- 若看不到「連結帳號」按鈕，代表你目前可能已經是完整的 VRChat 帳號。
- 依照畫面上的指示完成帳號連結。
如果照做仍無法成功連結帳號，請聯絡 VRChat 支援團隊。

Linking is permanent and irreversible. Each full VRChat account can be linked to one account from each supported platform simultaneously. It can take up to one day for account data to fully merge. For any issues during or after the process, contact VRChat support at VRChat Support.
Linking for Discord accounts
On September 25, 2025[1], a posted Developer Update demonstrates a future capability to link a VRChat account, and Discord account together. Users will also have the ability to create a platformed VRChat account, and be given the option to log in, using Discord. Additionally, users will be able to unlink their accounts at any time, through Discord or VRChat.
As of October 16, 2025, the Open Beta for 2025.4.1 introduced the ability to log into VRChat, using Discord, as well as linking accounts.
The Discord login feature was officially released in 2025.4.1 , released on November 3.
