VRRat is a mischievous secondary mascot of VRChat.

Biography

VRRat is a low-poly rat. He is shades of brown in color with stubby arms and legs.

During Spookality 2024, VRRat was frequently used in the branding.

On December 1st, 2024, The VRRat Makeship plushie was officially revealed[2].

  • According to an official Twitter thread for VRChat's 10th anniversary in January 2024, VRRat was created during a VRChat Jam in 2022 as an NPC that disciplined banned users sent to the Banned World. If a banned user entered the world and broke VRRat’s only rule (Don’t touch my cheese!), they would attack you, and you would sink into the ground and turn into cheese.[3]
