Japan Street is a world created by NEET ENGINEER. The world exists on the PC and Quest platforms separately.

It was published in 2019 and has since grown to be one of the largest hubs for the Japanese VRChat Community.

PC & Quest Worlds

Due to the world size limitation of 50MB at the time, this world has been split between PC and Quest.

Concept

'Japanese City that looks like it could exist in real life.'

This world was developed through collaboration of volunteers, with models being brought together with the aim of recreating a Japanese cityscape.

Community

There is an official VRChat group "Japan Street町内会" which exists for this world.

Akyo

Akyo is a mysterious animal which exists in Japan Street. There are currently over 100 styles of Akyo which exist, with each model having a dedicated pedestal next to Station Park by Haihocho Station.

The World Spawn is by the ticket gate of this station. People mostly gather around this station, and is a major hub for transport. Street performers can be seen doing live performance opposite of the station road.

Collaborative Community Project

Japan Street is a world which is actively developing with the contributions of world models made by the visitors. Anyone can contribute by making models of buildings and more, as long as they follow the rules set by the author.
