VRChat user RootGentle has created Japan Shrine [Summer], a standout and fully vibrant world in VR. A follow up world to the Japan Shrine World, this is a cozy early summer Japanese shrine scene based on actual shrines in Japan. It is a serene, cultural habitat to wander and socialize.

World Design and Atmosphere

While this map has dynamic lighting based on the time of day it is set in, contributing to its realism and allowing you to see how Taisha looks under different conditions; from early soft morning light all the way into golden hour sunset.

Legacy and Popularity

Following the familiar Japan Shrine series, this world carries on in much the same spirit of its origin: Thespian details and designs have given way to fresh look with tempting sounds for such sensory excess as you can come across in today’s VR graphics! And this is a vision kept alive even as it gains momentum. Japan Shrine [Summer] remains popular with users-even in July, August, but particularly so during over-all milder weather months. For those interested in exploring Japan Shrine [Summer], you can access the world directly through the VRChat portal.
