Super VR Ball (SVRB) is a multiplayer obstacle course game world inspired by Similar to Super Monkey Ball[1] created for the Obstacle Course: Time Trials Jam. Up to 32 players compete to collect the most melons or reach the goal the fastest. Players can choose from up to four unique level packs, each with its own set of levels.

Gameplay

Objective

There are two main leaderboards you can aim for:

  1. Time Leaderboard: Complete the maps as quickly as possible to get a place on the Leaderboard.
  2. Melon Leaderboard: Collect as many melons as you can to reach the top of the Leaderboard.

Movement

Super VR Ball uses a physics-based movement system where players control the ball they are standing on. As the ball moves in a given direction, its momentum builds up and is preserved.

Controls

Control VR Desktop Note
Movement Left Analog Stick (Move) WASD
Brake Left & Right Trigger (Left & Right Interact) Right Click Braking will slow the ball's momentum at any time, even in mid-air.
Auto-Brake Down on Left Analog Stick (Move Backwards) S Holding backwards when the ball is going forward will slow the ball's momentum akin to braking manually. Auto-Brake can be disabled from the "Other" tab of the settings panel.
Jump A (Jump) Space Jumping is only possible when the ball is not moving. This allows the player to jump over certain obstacles and can help if they're stuck.

Game mode

Upon starting a game, players may choose to play levels as-is or in reverse by selecting the following game modes.

Forward The default game mode. Levels are played from start to finish as originally intended.
Reverse Levels are played in reverse.
Forward + Reverse All selected level packs are played from start to finish, then in reverse.

Levels

Super VR Ball features 72 levels split into 4 level packs. Each level pack contains 18 levels divided into 3 themed zones. Most levels offer multiple paths: some are risky and fast, rewarding skilled players who have mastered the movement, while others are slower and easier for beginner players. Some levels also have secret melons which can only be obtained by going through certain paths.
