Bienvenido a la Wiki de VRChat, nos alegra que estés interesado en ayudar con nuestra base de conocimientos.

Aquí cubrimos temas como:

Contribuir a la Wiki

Si inicias sesión con una cuenta de VRChat, ¡puedes contribuir a esta Wiki siempre que tu cuenta esté en buen estado! Asegúrate de leer primero nuestras Pautas y de comprender qué significa escribir desde un punto de vista neutral.

Si planeas crear o editar un artículo sobre tu propio contenido o en nombre de una empresa u organización, es obligatorio leer la política de Conflictos de Interés de la VRCWiki antes de publicar.

Espacios de nombres

La Wiki de VRChat tiene espacios de nombres con los que los editores deberían familiarizarse. Usar estos espacios de nombres será útil al crear y buscar artículos.

• VRChat - Sin prefijo - Páginas oficiales de la Wiki de VRChat. Los cambios que realices en artículos de VRChat, al igual que los de otros editores, requerirán aprobación de moderación y se mostrarán después de ser revisados. Estos artículos presentan principalmente contenido creado por VRChat, o tratan temas generales. Esto también incluye aplicaciones y software oficiales, como el VRChat Creator Companion y el VRChat SDK.

• Comunidad - Prefijo: Community: - El espacio de nombres de la comunidad. Las páginas aquí deben centrarse en páginas de la comunidad, hubs y creaciones. Esto también incluye aplicaciones y software comunitarios, como Unity, Blender y prefabs. Todos pueden editar estas páginas directamente. Páginas de mundos, Páginas de avatares, Guías y Recursos pertenecen a este espacio.

• Guías - Prefijo: Guides: - Los artículos en el espacio de nombres de guías se centran en cómo realizar una tarea, solucionar un problema o describir temas complejos avanzados. Las guías deben ser proactivas y relevantes para VRChat, Unity y otro software similar.

• Category - Prefix: Category: - These namespaces are for classifications and arranging ambiguations into organized lists, such as ''Category:Community Content''

• VRCWiki - Prefix: VRCWiki: - Namespace for pages in relation to the VRChat Wiki.

• User - Prefix: User: - The user namespace is the "home page" of an editor. You can edit your own user page, as long as it follows VRChat's guidelines. Adding to another editor's talk page is the equivalent of publicly messaging them.

• Special - Prefix: Special: - Namespace for special pages.

Creating a new page

To create a new page, ensure you are logged in and search for what you would like to have as a title of that page. Should a page with that title not exist yet, an option appears to create it.

Please note that to create pages in the Community namespace requires to have Community: as a prefix of the page title. For Example: Community:World Name. Read more about when to use which namespace above.

Uploading images

When uploading images to the VRChat Wiki, you can go to the Upload file page to do so. These images can be then embedded to any article that you edit. Please be sure to give a brief description or caption of the image in "Summary", but more importantly, please select the proper Licensing! While the supported file types include "png, gif, jpg, jpeg," and "webp", it is commonly best practice to upload still images using the .webp format, since it retains quality while being very optimized, compared to the .png format which takes lots of space. Keep in mind that the maximum file size to upload to the Wiki is only 20 megabytes per image, so please try converting your pictures to .webp format.

Do not write articles about yourself or other users

VRChat Wiki is a knowledgebase to write about VRChat content such as features, prefabs, and worlds. This Wiki is not a place to post personal information about yourself, or other users. Feel free to create and add onto your personal User: page, or interact with another editor using the Talk/Discussion page on another User: page.

VRChat has Content Gating

VRChat is a platform for users 13 and over, per the Terms of Service. So is this Wiki! Please refrain from referencing explicit adult or violent content. Be considerate on what you are writing about.

Discussion Page

A link to the Discussion Tab is present on the top left of every page.

Each page also has a discussion page, which is used to talk about contents of a page. Please make a new header for each subject with a title and with what you would like to discuss. When you finish writing a post, add ~~~~ right after it . This will automatically add your username and timestamp at the end of a paragraph.
