BOOTH is an online marketplace operated by pixiv Inc. for distributing and selling a wide variety of creations. It is not limited to content related to VRChat.
In 2023, BOOTH's 3D model category recorded approximately ¥3.1 billion in transaction value, with approximately 1.98 million orders from 148,000 customers. [1]
Some sellers provide product descriptions, documentation, or support primarily or exclusively in Japanese. Products intended for use with VRChat may also assume that buyers have prior knowledge of VRChat, Unity, or avatar modification (often referred to as "改変" (kaihen) in the Japanese VRChat community).
