The ranks they gain are as follows (lowest to highest):

| New User | Can upload avatars and worlds to VRChat. But uploaded worlds cannot be published. | |
| User | Can publish worlds to Community Labs. Most functions become available at this rank. | |
| Known User | Can choose to appear as a “User”. | |
| Trusted User | Can choose to appear as a “User”. |
