Microsoft does not recommend disabling IPv6, unbinding IPv6 from interfaces, or disabling IPv6 components. Microsoft recommends preferring IPv4 over IPv6 in prefix policies instead, by setting the <code>DisabledComponents</code> registry value to decimal 32 (<code>0x20</code>).<ref name="ms-ipv6" /> This option may not work if the ISP no longer offers IPv4.

Connection problems can also come from a slow or unstable path, a local firewall, or the VRChat client itself.
