Prefer IPv4 over IPv6 on Windows

Microsoft does not recommend disabling IPv6, unbinding IPv6 from interfaces, or disabling IPv6 components. Microsoft recommends preferring IPv4 over IPv6 in prefix policies instead, by setting the DisabledComponents registry value to decimal 32 (0x20).[1] This option may not work if the ISP no longer offers IPv4.
