Friending
Friending a user on VRChat will send them a request they can either accept or decline. When added as a friend, a user can send invites to their instance to friends or request to join a friend's instance.

Booping
Booping is an upcoming social feature allowing friends to send “boops” to each other. This can be attached with any emoji, including custom ones using VRC+. When the recipient of a boop opens their notifications, they'll be subject to a “Boop Explosion,” a blast of the emoji from the boop! Boop recipients will also receive a push notification from the VRChat app on mobile devices. Boops can only be sent to friends.
Favorite Friend
Like with avatars and worlds, you can favorite a friend to add them to a list of people.

Notes
Notes are snippets of information you can attach to a user that only you can see, this can be used for anything. An example of the kind of information you could put in may be how you met a user, names they go by, or their username on other platforms.
Your Own Profile
On your own profile you can display a myriad of information, such as your status, description, languages you speak, social links, and the group you represent!
