About The World

Super VR Ball (SVRB) is a cross-platform, multiplayer obstacle course game where up to 32 players compete to collect the most melons and reach the goal the fastest. Similar to Super Monkey Ball. [1] it was created for the Obstacle Course: Time Trials Jam. Players can choose from up to four unique courses, each with its own set of maps.

Movement

Super VR Ball uses a Momentum-Based Movement system to make it challenging to move around, As you move in a given direction, your momentum builds up and is preserved, this makes it more difficult to move precisely in the way you want to move often causing you to overshoot in one direction. however, there are a few controls that can help you:

  • Normal Movement: To move, use your thumbstick in VR or the WASD keys on desktop, like in most games.
  • Brake: You can brake at any time, even in mid-air, by pressing both triggers simultaneously or the right mouse button. Braking will start to slow your momentum, making it easier to turn or stop.
  • Jump: When you are not moving, you can jump. This can help if you are stuck or want to jump over certain obstacles.

Maps

Super VR Ball has four Level Packs, each one containing eighteen individual Levels for you to play on, spread across three themed zones. Most levels offer multiple paths: some are risky and fast, rewarding skilled players who have mastered the movement, while others are slower and easier for beginner players. some levels also have secret melons which can only be obtained by going through specific paths.
