The NieR:Automata flowers world is a recreation of a location from the 2017 role-playing game NieR:Automata™, developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. It is based on the secret area where Kaine's shack is located, which the player encounters at the end of a long series of sidequests.

The world was a very popular[Citation Needed] hangout location in VRChat, due to its very calm atmosphere, amazing visuals, and beautiful music.

The world is set in a cave whose floor is completely covered in delicate white flowers, known as "Lunar Tears". In the middle of the cave is a shack, with a mirror facing it. Just behind the mirror is a crater with an object buried in it. At the opening of the cave is an elevator, where players spawn.

Trivia

  • The song that plays in the world is "Kainé (Salvation)" from the NieR:Automata OST.
  • The world contains a number of hidden easter eggs.
  • The elevator has a glowing light on it, the colour of which can be changed by pressing the elevator's recall button. This will also cause a single Lunar Tear in the world to glow the same colour.
  • One easter egg, once discovered, will cause the particles floating through the air to glow rainbow colours and the song "Weight of the World" from the NieR:Automata OST to play.
  • The other easter eggs are related to an old ARG event
  • The object buried in the crater glows when an avatar touches it.
  • There are chests scattered around the world. While they gave special items to the player in the original game, most of them are empty in this world.
