World creators can disable items in the "Default Content Settings" section by editing a world on the website, in case they are causing issues or are undesirable. Props can also be disabled by ability from the World Details page on the website; the first available ability category is "Props that Modify Player Movement", which covers props that change a user's movement speed, add the ability to teleport, or otherwise affect movement. VRChat has indicated that additional ability categories may be added in the future.
