Leaks are potential unreleased or unannounced features or information found through various credible or non-credible means, such as the VRChat API or platforms like Crowdin. Anything on this page should be taken with a grain of salt; just because something is on this page, does not confirm that it is something that will be added in the future.
Leaks will typically be removed from this page when they are either confirmed (through being given an applicable testing branch on Open Beta, or being fully released) then after receiving an article on the VRChat Wiki, or assigned within the proper existing articles; or removed after being denied through official VRChat sources.

Challenges
A feature which lets you complete challenges[4][5]. First discovery on December 13, 2024. Last new discovery on December 16, 2024. This feature is not yet accessible to all users, and seems to only be available for some VRChat accounts.
Challenges:
- Make X Friends[6]
- Visit X Friends[7]
- Visit X Worlds[2] (Reward badge: World Explorer[1])
- Try VRChat on Another Platform[8]
- Log in X Days in a Row[9]
ToxMod
ToxMod is an AI-assisted voice chat moderation product made by Modulate, intended to detect and flag toxic or abusive voice behavior.
In 2022 ToxMod got partially integrated. VRChat later stated that the team had previously been in discussions with Modulate, and that VRChat was inadvertently listed as a ToxMod customer[10], but that VRChat has no current or future plans to implement ToxMod[11].
Discord Social SDK
VRChat is implementing Discord Social SDK, which allows users to interact with there Discord friends on VRChat. This includes Invites, Joining, Friending, Unfriending. So far no indications to send messages, calls, or screen sharing/streaming. This feature can be disabled in the Settings[12][13].
Instance avatar performance requirements

A new group permission on the website in group role settings has been spotted:
Bypass Avatar Performance Requirements
Allows role to join group instances that have a minimum avatar performance requirement, regardless of their avatar's performance rating.
This seems to suggest a feature might be implemented in the future allowing instances to have a minimum avatar performance requirement set in place.
