Lunar New Year is a recurring limited-time promotion by VRChat tied to the Lunar New Year. Each year's promotion is themed around the corresponding zodiac animal and has included free cosmetic content such as stickers, and, from 2026 onward, paid Shop listings.

Lunar New Year 2025

Lunar New Year 2025 marked the Year of the Snake. The promotion consisted only of a free limited-time sticker set; no paid Shop items were released for it.[1]

Lunar New Year 2026

Lunar New Year 2026 marked the Year of the Horse and was the first Lunar New Year promotion to include purchasable Shop items, including a portal, a warp effect, three items, a premium emoji bundle, and a holographic sticker pack. A free VRC+-exclusive "Lucky Red Envelope" credit bundle was also offered.[2]
