A user with the appropriate permission can send an announcement from the Quick Menu "Here" tab, or from the Main Menu Instance Details window while the current instance is selected. A history button keeps the last 10 messages the user has sent for quick reuse. Users who receive announcements can temporarily silence them with the "Mute Announcements" toggle in the Quick Menu "Here" tab; this resets when moving to a different instance. The sender also receives a copy of their own announcement.[1]
