A Strange Place

Did the author of the page ever say that this page is about a world that they made? Because if that was never said, I believe there is no claim that this is a violation of the COI. Don't know how else we could prove it. I think the author can reach out since this deletion seems to be an error. Maebbie (talk) 09:42, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hello, I'm not the creator of this world, but I do take part in the roleplay that happens here in their community. I can understand the reasons behind this decision.
I've read the rules carefully, although they are indeed quite complex and difficult to follow. It's still a bit of a shame, couldn't we discuss it further? Or get some advice on what could be rewritten so that this page could be kept? Many people I meet want to learn more about this place. This world is close to my heart, and I wanted to be able to contribute to the wiki :). LolaBeta (talk) 16:09, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi Lola, There was just generally some concerns with connections we found regarding your account and the authors account, we chose to play it safe due to this. This was particularly because of the same GitLab account linked in both yours and the original author's VRC profiles, as well as a repository by the author that has the same name as your VRChat username https://gitlab.com/ameliend/LolaBeta.
This is what led us to believe that there was a potential COI violation and playing it safe. As far as we know, it appears you are an alt account of the author, and we would appreciate anything clearing up the situation or full honesty. Arie² (talk) 01:30, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
