パブリックアバター作成における一般的なガイドライン

以下は、2019年に公開された VRChat の旧情報源[2]に基づくガイドラインである。更新や変更の有無については、VRChat に直接問い合わせること。

アバターの詳細

  • 投稿するアバターの身長は、およそ 167cm（約5'6"）から 180cm（約6'0"）程度であること。
  • アバターは PC 版および Android 版の両方を用意すること（必須）。
  • PC 版および Android 版のアバターはともに、各プラットフォームにおける「Good」アバターパフォーマンスランクが定める制限内に収めること（必須）（リンク：PC、Android）。
  • PC 版では、可能な限り高品質なテクスチャ・メッシュ・シェーダーを使用することが望ましい。
  • アバターには何らかの Viseme を実装すること（必須）。ブレンドシェイプによる Viseme が理想的であるが、Jaw Flap も許容される。
  • PC 版と Android 版はアバターの外観が一致していること（必須）。
  • Android 版・PC 版ともにジェスチャーオーバーライドを使用することは可能であるが、表情用のフェイスブレンドシェイプの変更のみに限定される。
  • Android 版・PC 版ともにエモートを含めることは可能であるが、ブレンドシェイプまたはボーンの回転・移動のアニメーションのみに限定される。
  • PC 版・Android 版ともに「ジェスチャープロップ」「インベントリシステム」、その他の複雑なジェスチャーまたはエモート起動型システムは使用不可である。
  • アバターのサムネイルには VRChat ユーザー名を含めることができる（任意）。また、VRChat の利用規約およびコミュニティガイドラインに違反していないこと（必須）。

ライセンス

  • 投稿するアバターは完全なオリジナル作品であること。また、既存の掲載アバターと比較して、外観上の独自性・差別化が求められる。
  • 投稿するアバターが既存のコンテンツを基にしている場合、元のライセンスが改変・再配布・商用アプリケーションでの使用を許可していること。また、元コンテンツおよびそのライセンスへのリンクを提供すること。
  • アバターには、CC-BY-SA-4.0、CC0 など、VRChat が制限なく利用できることを許可するオープンなライセンスを適用すること。
