Help Forum

VRChat's Help Forum, also known as their "Knowledge Base", is implemented to assist users in solving problems that they may be facing with the platform. You can use this website to search for guides to help you with an issue, submit support requests, or moderation reports.

VRChat's support team, or Trust and Safety team will assist you with your issue, if you submit a support request or moderation ticket. Support and moderation tickets that can be submitted under these categories:

  • Locked Account Recovery
  • Security Exploit Reports
  • Copyright Infringement Reports

Ask Forum

VRChat's Ask Forum is a community forum that allows users to ask questions, and browse posts by the Community on various boards, and browse VRChat 'Developer Updates', and 'Official Notes' created by the VRChat Team. The various boards that can be browsed and posted or commented to, are the following:

Status Page

The Status website, powered by Atlassian Statuspage[1] presents data, regarding the server statuses of VRChat's services and Instances. This page shows schedules for upcoming server maintenance, the operational statuses and recent incidents for the VRChat API, and the website, for the following data:

  • Realtime Networking
    • USA, West (San José)
    • USA, East (Washington D.C.)
    • Europe (Amsterdam)
    • Japan (Tokyo)
  • API/Website
    • Authentication and Login

This page also demonstrates graphs of networking traffic for VRChat, such as online user count, API latency, API requests, Steam authentication success rate, and Meta authentication success rate.

VRChat's Feedback Forums, powered by Canny.io, consists of several community boards. Community Feedback is always welcome.

Please post feedback on relevant boards, for posts regarding bug reports, feature requests, community feedback, and tracking implementation of new features. Upvoting posts on these boards, helps make suggestions more prioritized by the VRChat Team.

VRChat's Documentation covers official notations on implemented features, patchnotes, changelogs, and VRChat SDK framework. The VRChat documentation also covers guides, and Frequently Asked Questions.

The Creator Documentation covers documentation regarding the VRChat SDK, VRChat Creator Companion, Worlds, Udon, Avatars, and Creator Economy. This page also covers upcoming 'creator roadmap' features to be implemented, and recent releases for the VRChat SDK.

The VRChat subreddit is not owned, run, or moderated by VRChat, and VRChat does not make announcements or posts there. However, some VRChat team members post there periodically and are labeled with "VRChat Staff".
