Pride Month 2026 is a community event to celebrate Pride Month for 2026. The event featured a pride-themed hub world, a charity fundraising campaign for Trans Lifeline, and several rewards for users participating. It took place from June 1, 2026 - June 30, 2026.

Details

On May 29, 2026, VRChat shared a post on their social media outlining their plans for the Pride Month 2026 event. Attached to the post was picture outlining dates for Pride Performances and more to be revealed on June 1st.

On June 1, 2026, the Pride Month 2026 event went live.

Hub world

The VRChat Official Pride Hub is where users can come together and celebrate LGBTQIA+ community during the event. The hub features, posters, pride floats and representable flags, set in a vibrant nighttime island.

Pride Campaign

The Pride Campaign is a charity fundraising campaign for Trans Lifeline, a trans-led nonprofit that offers direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. VRChat will be donating $100,000USD to Trans Lifeline.

Users can participate and track progress by navigating to the Pride Event tab in the VRC+ page. By participating in the campaign, users can earn several rewards.

Rewards

Users that participate during the pride campaign are subject to the following rewards:

  • Available to everyone once the community goal is reached
  • "Pride Pin" accessory

  • Available to users that claim the "Pride Starter Bundle", "Loud & Proud", "Double the Love", and "Rainbow Legend" rewards.

Hype Train

During the event, a limited time Hype Train feature was added. When any user uses gift drops twice within 5 minutes, a Hype Train will start.

Hype Trains can be started in any world and in any instance. To complete a Hype Train, users need to gift drop a total of 50 times, before the timer runs down. After a gift drop is sent, users have 5 minutes to send another gift drop before the Hype Train ends, and each gift drop will reset the timer.

Users that are in the instance of a successful Hype Train will receive the "Extravagant Pride Fan" item.
