2022

Joke Jam

On March 21, 2022, VRChat announced the Joke Jam world jam, which give creators a week to make a world using a jam-specific Bop System. This Bop System would track the total amount of "bops" users made, per world. This Bop System was an alpha test of Udon Analytics; an analytics system for creators.

The theme of this jam was "jokes" and submissions coincidentally ended on April 1st. On the same day, a Joke Jam world row went live.

2024 April Fools day video.

For April Fools 2024, VRChat made a video introducing a new clock features on the Quick Menu. This clock menu adds a bunch of non-standard and less than useful clocks and time formats.

Many worlds were "taken over" by VRRat. There were a total of 60 worlds with the admin_vrrat_community_takeover tag.

VRC+ Quick Menu mascot swap

VRRat has replaced clickable VRCat with himself. Clicking VRRat multiple times will cause his own unique dialogue to appear. VRRat also has his own unique graphic for earmuff mode, and the back face of the Quick Menu.
