Los "Avatares públicos" (también llamados "Avatares de exhibición") son un conjunto de avatares predeterminados que VRChat muestra en la sección "Explorar", dentro de la pestaña de "Avatares" del menú principal.

Normas generales para crear un avatar público

Estas son normas de una fuente antigua de VRChat de 2019. Consulta con VRChat sobre cualquier actualización o cambio que deba realizarse.

Detalles de avatares

• El avatar enviado debería tener una altura aproximada de 167 cm (~5'6") a 180 cm (~6'0").
• El avatar debe tener versiones tanto para PC como para Android.
• Las versiones para PC y Android deben cumplir con las restricciones establecidas por el nivel de rendimiento Bueno del avatar para sus respectivas plataformas (enlaces: PC, Android).
• La versión de PC debería usar texturas, mallas y sombreadores de mayor fidelidad cuando sea aplicable.
• El avatar debe incluir algún tipo de visema. Idealmente, se deberían usar visemas por blendshapes, aunque el movimiento de mandíbula (jaw flap) es aceptable.
• El avatar debe mantener coherencia estética entre las versiones de PC y Android.
• Se puede usar anular gestos (Gesture Overrides) en ambas versiones, pero solo pueden modificar los blendshapes faciales para hacer expresiones/animaciones.
• Se pueden incluir expresiones/animaciones en ambas versiones, pero solo pueden animar blendshapes o rotaciones/traslaciones de huesos.
• Ni en PC ni en Android se pueden usar "gestos con accesorios" ("gesture props"), "sistemas de inventario" u otros sistemas complejos activados por gestos o expresiones/animaciones.
• La miniatura del avatar puede incluir tu nombre de usuario de VRChat (si lo deseas), y además no debe violar los términos de servicio ni las normas de la comunidad de VRChat.

Licensing

• The avatar submitted should be a totally original avatar. It should also be aesthetically unique and different from our current featured avatars.
• If the avatar submitted is derived from some other content, the original license must permit modification, redistribution, and use in a commercial application. You must provide a link to the original content, including its license.
• The avatar must be licensed with a permissive license, such as CC-BY-SA-4.0, CC0, or something else that permits VRChat to use the client with no restrictions.
