PJKT HorrorCon (also written Projekt: HorrorCon or PJKT: HorrorCon) is a horror-themed community convention in VRChat, organized as a collaboration between Projekt: Community (PJKT) and HorrorConVR.[1] Editions have featured a dedicated convention world, stage programming, improv and storytelling shows, world hops, and guest panels.[2][3]

Overview

HorrorCon sits on PJKT's autumn calendar. HorrorCon is built around horror communities and entertainment—often in partnership with the HorrorConVR group (HORROR.4016).[2][1]

The Projekt Community website has announced a further run for October 2026.[4]

Format

Documented editions use a themed event world as the convention hub. Programming has included opening and stage sessions, staff Q&A, improv theatre, storytime and spoken-word shows, horror-game voice-actor panels, and collaborative world hops with other groups.[5][2][3] Some sessions have been livestreamed or archived on Projekt Community's YouTube channel.[6]

History

2024

PJKT HorrorCon 2024 ran from October 26 to 27, 2024.[2] The weekend included stage welcomes and improv programming by Skits'N'Bits, as well as a staff Q&A with PJKT and HorrorCon organizers.[5][7][2] Promotional photography for the edition was staged in the world The Ghost Town by Coldcancer.[8]

2025

An opening ceremony was posted to Projekt Community's YouTube channel.[6] During the overlapping Group Fair weekend (October 24-26, 2025), Projekt Community scheduled HorrorCon-branded sessions that included Spookality world hops with Noved Squad, storytime with MrCreepyPasta, SpokenHeart: Spooky Edition, a Faceless Dream Crypt session, and a horror-game voice-actor Q&A with Autumn Ivy.[3]

2026

Projekt Community has announced PJKT HorrorCon for October 2026.[4]
