Community:PJKT Lenz
PJKT Lenz (also written Projekt: Lenz or PJKT: Lenz) is a community film festival in VRChat organized by Projekt: Community (PJKT).[1] The festival showcases short films submitted by VRChat creators and includes programming about filmmaking alongside screenings and ceremony-style sessions.[1][2]
Overview
Event publicity has described it as a festival highlighting community-made films, with an open call for submissions ahead of the run.[2] Film-festival submissions have also been accepted during broader PJKT Fest sign-up periods in later years.[3]
Format
Documented editions have used a dedicated festival world for screenings, staff programming, and closing ceremonies.[2][4][5] Alongside film showings, the program has included talk-oriented sessions about filmmaking.[1]
History
2023
PJKT Lenz 2023 ran from September 29 to October 1, 2023, in a festival world credited to Pesky12.[2][4] Promotional materials invited film submissions and framed the weekend as a showcase of VRChat community productions.[2] Closing ceremonies were led on-stage by festival staff, including Chris Kani.[5]
