Tokyo Game Show 2026 is VRChat's first exhibit at Tokyo Game Show, at Makuhari Messe Hall 8, booth 08-N08, from September 17, 2026 to September 21, 2026.[1][2]

The booth has a stage and a corner to try VRChat.[1] Cosplayers are part of the booth, including on 超かぐや姫！ stages. しんたや handled casting.[3][4]

The 超かぐや姫！ sessions replay 「私は、わたしの事が好き。」 by HoneyWorks / かぐや (cv. 夏吉ゆうこ) from Sanrio Virtual Festival 2026 at Virtual Sanrio Puroland.[3][4] The Love Live! stages introduce a 沼津市民文化センター world ahead of a VRChat stream of Guilty Kiss Musical Performance 漆黒のWanted Ghost planned for November 2026.[4]
Profile decorations
Three free Profile Decorations are issued as redeem codes from discovervr.chat/tgs. Codes are emailed, redeemed at vrch.at/redeem, then collected from in-client Notifications.[5][2]

Each code unlocks one decoration. The three can be claimed separately.[5]
Giveaway
Booth QR registration also enters a drawing for three T-shirts signed by 甲賀流忍者！ぽんぽこ. Entries close September 21, 2026 JST. Winners are emailed by September 24, 2026. The drawing is limited to residents of Japan.[5]
History
On July 31, 2026, VRChat announced a first Tokyo Game Show exhibit.[1] On September 4, 2026, it named public-day guests including Hatsune Miku YOZORA PROGRAM 2026, 超かぐや姫！, Love Live! Sunshine!!, 甲賀流忍者！ぽんぽこ, トコロバ/105ro8, and Kizuna AI.[3] On September 14, 2026, it published the stage timetable.[4] On September 17, 2026, the Plasma Slash booth QR claim opened.[2][5]
