Moonchaser was a free VRChat music event on August 28, 2026, hosted in a Moonchaser world.[1][2]

Format

DJ sets and performances were broadcast to every instance of the Moonchaser world at once. Instances other than the DJ's showed a hologram of the DJ.[3][2][4]

The event ran from August 28, 2026, 6:00 PM PDT to August 28, 2026, 11:00 PM PDT.[2][5] It was cross-platform on PC/Steam, Meta Quest, iOS, and Android, including desktop and mobile clients, and was streamed at twitch.tv/vrchat.[2][5][3]

A Quick Menu banner and a World Row linked to the world while the event was live.[2][3][5]

Schedule

Sets were hourly in PDT.[2][5]

Softly Steph and Sir Rose were billed as VJs.[6][2]
